This oversized coffee table, designed and built by Ken Farabaugh, is crafted of the finest quality, FSC-certified Vermont maple and sustainably-harvested West African sapele mahogany.  It's sleek, contemporary look is embellished with contrasting edging and traditional joinery pins to create a piece that will look stunning in your living room, study or den.  Ken used traditional mortise and tenon joinery techniques to create a piece that will last a lifetime.  The sapele top has been bounded by a thin perimeter of contrasting maple.  The wavy, shimmering grain on this piece is delightful and pays tribute to the character of the tree it was harvested from.  Ken has applied a clear, durable, hand-rubbed finish that highlights the natural color and grain of the wood and is resistant to moisture and sunlight.
