This table has been handcrafted by Peter and Virginia of Halifax, Vermont. The maple is FSC-certified, having been harvested in Vermont from trees that are being retired after providing maple syrup for many years. The black cherry wood was sustainably harvested in Pennsylvania and is used for the Hepplewhite legs, breadboard ends, pegs and accents. The artisans have applied a clear, durable, hand-rubbed finish that highlights the natural color and grain of the wood and is resistant to moisture and sunlight.
